I was on top of the bus that day. Hired to photograph Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer's families during the parade. But at some point, I turned around. And that's when I saw it. Not just people. Five million of them, all facing the same direction — one heartbeat, one voice, one collective joy. I took the photos. And then I didn't touch them for nine years. Not because they weren't important. Because I didn't understand them yet. Now I do. This wasn't just about baseball. It was about what happens when a city stops being a city and becomes something alive. Heartcrowd is my way of giving all of us this moment.
